Writing without titles (at first)

How often do I sit down and write from scratch? Not very often. Usually, I start off with an idea. Then I write up a title.

This time, though, I don’t have a title. I just know I want to write about writing without having anything particular to say at first.

It’s how I actually think. I don’t start with a title. I don’t even always start with an idea. I don’t organize things first. I look around, make observations, and then start connecting them with thoughts I’m already thinking or have already thought in the past.

So in the spirit of keeping Marshallogue about “How I think,” I figured I’d just start writing, start sharing what’s on my mind, without having a title prepped and ready to go (at first).
