Why I didn’t get my MA in education

When I was in Korea deciding which Master’s program to pursue, I seriously considered a degree in education. I didn’t go that route, though, for two reasons.

The first reason that came to mind was that it would be difficult to get that kind of degree plus a certification while living abroad (and I really wanted to finish the bulk of the degree before returning to America a year later).

The second, more important reason I didn’t pursue an education degree, though, was that I don’t believe in the traditional school system so couldn’t see myself becoming part of it.
