One of my favorite parts from the Online Course Show is that, especially at the beginning, he includes all these details of how difficult and slow the process was for him.
He mentions that it took him nine months to get his first course up.
He says when he launched it, no one bought anything the first day. He tells the story of going out for a coffee the next day kind of in a funk about not having sold anything. And then he gets the alert while he’s out that he got his first customer.
Steven Pressfield also says something like this on his site: “I wrote for 17 years before I earned my first penny,” he says. “I wrote for 27 years before I got my first novel published.”
It’s three weeks into May, and I’ve completed 10 videos for the course. Ten out of 30.
