We can’t unexperience

I lived before Internet and cell phones. I bet you did too. Does that make it easier to give up either now? What about A/C? What about microwave ovens? What about the alphabet?

It’s a fallacy to assume that if someone lived a certain way at a certain period of time, then it should be easy for them to live that way again. We get sucked into the stream of time. We can’t go back. We can’t completely undo experiments. We can’t unexperience what we’ve experienced.
