“Only through focus can you do world-class things, no matter how capable you are.” -Bill Gates
That quote reminded me that I’m not world-class at anything right now. And worse still, I don’t even know specifically what I’m trying to be world-class at. So if Bill Gates is right and my focus is all over the place, I’m not headed toward world-classness at all.
Most of us are fond of saying, “You can be anything you want to be.” But most who say that have no idea what they want to be. I’d guess that is why so few of us are world-class at anything, not because we lack the ability.
