Who's the thought leader of your passion?

First, a couple definitions.

A thought leader is a person recognized for innovating and promoting ideas within a certain industry or about a certain topic.

A passion (as I’m using it here) is what you’re really, really, really interested in. I almost said “industry,” but that doesn’t seem right because so many of you don’t work in an industry you love.

So another way to phrase the question is, who’s the person recognized for innovating and promoting ideas about what you’re really, really, really interested in?

Or yet another way to ask is, if I wanted to consult the foremost expert in whatever I’m really, really, really interested in, who would I consult?

The answer is tricky, which is why this post is about something more.

If your passion has no thought leader (which it probably doesn’t), fill the position yourself.
