What a crazy year of travel!
- Panmunjom, North Korea
- Jeju Island, South Korea
- Bangkok, Thailand
- Ayuthaya, Thailand
- Vientiane, Laos
- Siem Reap, Cambodia
- Koh Chang, Thailand
- Seoul, South Korea
- Louisville, Kentucky, USA
- Juneau, Alaska
And this doesn’t even count the layovers in Chicago and Seattle. It also doesn’t count the multiple trips back to Seoul (where I lived for half the year), Bangkok (where I stayed for about a month), and Louisville (where I lived for pretty much the rest of the year).
As Paul McGarry would say, the travels this year toally blew all the others out of the water. It’s such a whirlwind for me that I forget it all happened this year. Hiking Hallasan on Jeju Island eleven months ago with Loren seems like a different lifetime. Even my last few days in Bangkok feel surreal now.
Only when I put them all in a column like that up there do I realize how many places I’ve hit this year. I’m incredibly thankful.
