It requires only a “yay” or “nay” response, even after I explain it.
At some point, our universe including time (i.e. change, entropy, whatever) began. Almost everyone agrees on that point.
The confusion comes with how that happened.
One camp thinks nothing came before that point, that the point came into existence from nothing and made our universe. If you’re in this camp, you think before that point, there was nothing.
Another camp thinks the opposite – “There never was nothing.” Something always existed. If you’re in this camp (as I am), you think we/our universe/time/etc. come from something. Something started it all.
So which camp are you in? Was there ever nothing?
