Okay, okay… so far, I’ve not had much of a schedule with this blog. I’ve posted (almost) every day, but the content for each day has been fairly sporadic.
That’s not a bad thing. In fact, when I started this blog, I did that on purpose so I wouldn’t feel pressured to write about any particular subject. I could just share whatever I felt like sharing. That’s worked so far.
But for this month, I’d like to try something a little different.
Lately, I’ve started posting “Profiles” of people who’ve influenced me. I’ve posted them on Mondays so far. I’d like to switch that to Fridays, though. So we’ll have “Profile Fridays.”
On Sundays, I’m going to write about spiritual stuff, particularly Christian stuff… but not necessarily (although it’ll all come from a Christian’s perspective since I’m a Christian). I’ve not written much about that here because I have a whole blog where I already share most of it. Still, there’s stuff that comes up that won’t fit my other blog’s theme. So here we’ll have “Spiritual Sundays.”
I thought about also adding “Story Saturdays” and “Wisdom Wednesdays,” but for now, I figure two set days is enough.
What do you think, though? Would you like to see a little more structure like this? And if you’re for it, what days should I add? What would you like me to write about?
I think some of my favorite posts of yours, have been sporadic and totally unrelated. I (personally) would like to see posts that come straight from your cuff and not filtered by topical days. Either way though, i’m sure it will continue to be great.
makes me think of jon acuff’s serious wednesdays. lol.
Thanks for the input, Dru. I’ve loved being able to look back over everything and see it all here… like a stream of consciousness, only connected through my life. That has a certain coolness/beauty to it.
We’ll see. I’ll try this for July for the two days and see how I like it.

Yes, a lot of people do this theme thing… and I’ve always thought it was kind of corny (even at SCL). That’s why I’ve stayed away from it until now.
As I told Dru (above), we’ll see how it goes.
