When I posted photos on Facebook from Asia, I forfeited the opportunity to bring them home when I returned. When I returned, everyone had either already seen the photos or didn’t care enough to see them.
Before Facebook, I would have returned with all my photos at the same time and been able to rummage through them with my friends and family. Maybe I would have even broken out one of those lame ol’ slide projectors to really annoy everyone.
With Facebook, even though it’s cool for people to see what I’m doing as I’m doing it, I miss the fun of sharing the memories together for the first time on arrival.
