Blogging every day is the art of noticing things.
To stay fresh, I have to keep my eyes and ears open. I like that. I think I do it naturally anyway. Knowing that I’ll have to write something, though, definitely makes me more observant.
Which reminds me, I almost started a blog in 2007 and called it The Observationist. The domain name was available and everything. When it came down to it, I never started it because I didn’t know how to blog. I wanted to observe what others were doing a little longer.
I’m glad I never started that blog.
The Observationist? Seriously? How much more passive could I get? Maybe that’s who I was at the time, just an observer. I hope I’m not like that now.
Which brings us back to this blog. Blogging every day is the art of noticing things—or making things noticeable.
