Wikipedia, the free, online encyclopedia, represents one of this century’s most worthwhile projects, in my opinion. It literally gives millions of people access to information on millions of topics… all for free, instantly, anywhere Internet is available.
But still, some people don’t care.
This isn’t just about Wikipedia, though. Think of any specific project you think is important, and I’ll show you a number of people who don’t care about it in the least.
Point is, no matter what you care about, no matter what you do, no matter how amazing you think it is, not everyone’s going to care.
But that’s okay. Pick the people you want to please, maybe even your own 1,000 fans, and focus on doing things they care about. ‘Cause this everyone business is futile.
