Some people seem to think it’s easier to save $100 than earn that much. These ones typically cut coupons and skip daily lattes, but the gutsy ones love haggling with their insurance companies too.
Other people seem to think it’s easier to earn $100 than save that much. Maybe they sell their stuff on Ebay or at community garage sales, or maybe they just gun for a pay raise at their 9-5.
Clearly, each of us could do both. But most of us don’t, not equally anyway. Most of us have a preference. Our personal philosophy on finances determines which route we take.
