My boss gave me an iPad. It’s an iPad 2, not the latest or greatest, but it’s still an iPad.
When I first heard about them, I remember thinking they were a great solution looking for a problem to solve. I read that somewhere, and it made sense to me.
I’m not sure how I’ll actually use it: browsing online, watching Netflix. Since my computer’s been down, I’m sure I’ll use it more than I normally would have used it.
For work, I’m supposed to be toying with a program called Prezi. It’s a presentation software, like an updated type of PowerPoint. Having an iPad will help me learn to take advantage of more of Prezi’s features that are iPad specific.
Overall, I’m not sure how much I’ll use the iPad. I like that I got it, though. I like that my job is flexible enough to give me one without much fanfare.
