Watched a speech the other day where the speaker said toward the beginning, “Many of you have plans but don’t fully know what you are going to do next year.” He paused. “By the end of this speech, you will know.”
Over-confidence? Maybe, but I admire his willingness to put his presentation on the line like that. I admire his willingness to let the audience judge whether or not he accomplishes his purpose. I admire that he has a definite agenda and he’s willing to share it with other people, even if they just scrutinize it.
It makes me wonder, “What’s my agenda? Does everyone know it? Does anyone?”
