When someone dies, they leave their last of everything in their wake.
The last sentence they said to their spouse.
The last grocery list they wrote on the fridge.
The last post on social media.
The last photo they took with a friend.
The last purchase on their card.
The last check in at the gym.
The last Christmas together.
The last phone call with their son.
And I’ll have the last post on this blog.
Sometimes I wonder what that will be.
