Today marks the 30th day – and the 30th post. I’ve now blogged 30 days in a row, a record for MarshallJonesJr.wordpress.com but also a record for Marshall on any blog.
You guys have been fantastic, a wonderful response for what started as a selfish blog.
As I write this, the blog has received 218 unique page views, not a lot but I’m certainly thankful for the friends and family who have visited. Most of you have visited my blog from Facebook, which is powerful because Facebook tends to send better visitors to this kind of blog than search engines.
The three most popular posts
- “I wanted to get married today” received 44 unique visitors on 9/9/09. That’s more than twice the traffic on a usual day for the entire blog, and the post still gets hits on a daily basis. Goes to show how much a snappy headline can do for a post.
- “Compared to Hitler” showed that Hitler can still stir a crowd.
- “What do you recommend? (Part 3)” turned out to be a subtle hit in the long run, which I’m thankful to see. (Maybe it just rode the “I wanted to get married today” bandwagon.)
Again, I’m blessed to have been able to keep up the writing and actually have readers who care enough to read. Thank you for your support.
If you have any suggestions for the blog, please let me know. Otherwise, I’ll continue posting once daily.
Here’s to another 30 days and 30 posts.
