Old time

It’s Tuesday, and I’m still running on old time. The time change, “fall back” and all that, happened on Sunday. It’s been three days now.

My car still shows the old time. I’ll go ahead and change that.

What mean is more my schedule, my rhythm for the day. I’ve been waking up and getting up about an extra hour early each day. So far, I’ve also been going to sleep earlier too.

For the past couple years right after the fall back, I’ve tried to hold on to the old time longer and longer. It doesn’t last, but it’s worth a shot.

It’s nice to get up and start the day an hour early. It’s even nice ending the day an hour early too. It feels older.
