Cut it into bits and then tear it up

Note to self (not specifically anyone else):

For each project you do, cut it into bits. If the whole ordeal will take longer than two minutes, including prep work, cut it into at least three parts. You think you can handle more than that, but you can’t. Don’t overestimate yourself.

For each bit you do, tear it up. Tear it up like this guy with his mandolin, not this guy with his board. In fact, they say if you’re trying to rip a telephone book in half, you don’t rip all the pages at once – you pinch them out. That works.
