A few weeks ago, the power jack for my laptop started intermittently cutting out. If I hold the plug in, the computer stays charging. Otherwise, it cuts in and out.
“Houston, we have a problem.” (<<Nerd.)
The warranty on the computer is still good since I got it about a year ago. So I called India to get in touch with Dell, and they’re going to fix it. In Houston. Supposedly. We’ll see how that goes.
The downside is that I’m losing my computer for a few weeks – perhaps less, but I have to plan for the full 10 to 12 business days because that’s what they said. At least, I think that’s what they said.
So over the next few weeks, the updates here and everywhere might shift a bit. I’m going to try to continue to post here each day, but Facebook and Twitter and some of the other stuff I was working on might be coming to a halt.
