Chopsticks, Korean style [EXPERIMENT] – Day 2

I meant to, I really did. But it didn’t happen.

The plan was to maybe find some Korean chopsticks and start learning on them today. I wanted to post a little video showing how to use chopsticks in general while giving an idea about how I’m coming along with the Korean style.

But two things messed the plans up:

  1. I never got any Korean chopsticks. Turns out, they’re harder to find than I thought. Plus, I just didn’t have much time to travel around to different stores. I did, however, contact a Korean friend of mine who lives here to ask him if he knows where I can get some. Hopefully, he’ll be able to point me in the right direction.
  2. The way I planned to record the video of myself with the chopsticks didn’t work out. I wanted to use my own video chat with Screenr running on top of it. That way, I’d be able to get a video up online in no time. Screenr is designed for screen capture videos, though, so it was powerful enough to make the normal video clean enough. Lesson learned. I’ve wanted to give this a try for a while. Too bad it didn’t work.

So the plan for tomorrow is pretty much the same as what I planned for today: track down some Korean chopsticks and start learning with them. I don’t think I’ll end up posting a video anytime soon, but we’ll see.

Hopefully, Day 3 will rock a lot harder. Maybe I’ll even graduate from pencils. 🙂
