Back in the day, I wondered what this day would be like. What would I do? How would I celebrate?
Turns out, I didn’t do anything spectacular. A friend invited me out to a party. I heard about massive festivities elsewhere. In some ways, I wanted to mimic some of that.
But plans don’t always work out. And sometimes plans don’t come together at all.
So for this once-in-a-lifetime moment, I did pretty much what I do in other moments. For this one, I chatted with some friends over chicken and drinks. Oh, and I took a picture to commemorate the date and time and moment for memory.
I enjoyed it.
Back in the day, I thought once-in-a-lifetime moments were something special. Turns out, all moments are once-in-a-lifetime. This particular one today will serve as a reminder for when I forget that.
